PVC-U Soil Pipe — 82, 110, 160 & 200mm
The backbone of the above-ground system. Marley PVC-U soil pipe carries foul discharge from sanitary appliances down the stack and out to the underground drain, and doubles as the vent pipe where the stack is carried to atmosphere.

Sizes and jointing
Supplied in 82mm, 110mm, 160mm and 200mm outside diameter in light grey (RAL 7035/7037). Both jointing methods are available across the range: push-fit with a captive ring seal for speed and for runs that need to accommodate thermal movement, and solvent weld for cast-in, concealed and riser applications where a permanently rigid joint is wanted.
Where it is used
Sanitary discharge stacks in residential towers, hotels and hospitals; ventilating stacks; and horizontal collection runs at podium and basement level. The 200mm size is specified where a single stack serves a large number of appliances or where the designer has chosen to reduce stack count on a tall building.
Expansion and support
PVC-U has a coefficient of thermal expansion of approximately 7×10⁻⁵/°C, which matters in the Gulf. Use ring-seal joints or purpose-made expansion sockets at the intervals given in the Technical Manual, and do not solvent-weld a joint that is intended to absorb movement.
