Sizes and applications
110mm and 160mm cover house drains and building connections; 200, 250 and 315mm serve site-wide foul and surface-water drainage and connections to the public sewer.
Bedding, backfill and testing
Buried pipework performs as well as the bedding around it. Follow the bedding class, surround material and compaction given in the technical manual, and air or water test before the trench is closed.
Access and maintenance
Inspection chambers at junctions and changes of direction keep the system rodding-accessible. Gullies take surface water and appliance discharge into the drain with a trapped seal.
